The best part about visiting Palm Springs is the weather!   Unless, of course, you are visiting in July or August when temperatures can soar to 115F.    Most people enjoy Palm Springs during the peak season which runs from December 15th until May 31st.

Whenever you visit Palm Springs, here’s some things to check out:

Palm Springs Tram

The Downtown Village

Indian Canyons

Palm Springs Follies

Palm Springs Golf Courses

Just a few minutes north of downtown Palm Springs is the world famous Palm Springs Tram!    In just 10 minutes, you can journey up to more than 8,000 and the top of the San Jacinto Mountains where temperatures are 30 degrees cooler than downtown Palm Springs.

Check out an amazing “Valley of Palm Trees” in Indian Canyons, located on the Agua Caliente Cahuilla Reservation.   There are several different moderate level hiking trails too!     Admission fees start at $8.00

Downtown Palm Springs is so charming.  It was here that Sonny Bono once owned a restaurant.   It is here, in downtown Palm Springs where you can check out the Palm Springs Follies as well as enjoy lots of great restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Golf, Golf, Golf!   Palm Sprins, California is known for golf.   Of course, the neighboring communities of Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, La Quinta and Indio also have their share of world class golf courses too!

Anyone over 50 will enjoy a trip down memory lane with a night of entertainment at the Palm Springs Follies!   Officially, it’s known as the “Fabulous Palm Springs Follies,” but locals just call ‘em the “Follies.”

According to the Official Palm Springs Follies website, it’s a night of “world-famous, Broadway-caliber celebration of the music, dance, and comedy of the 30's, 40's, and 50's with a cast old enough to have lived it!”
